Hall of Fame
Tom Gill, a name synonymous with Kings Point lacrosse, led the Mariners for 31 seasons (1991–2021), compiling 230 victories. He guided the team to three conference titles in 2007, 2009 and 2018, three NCAA Tournament berths and the program’s first NCAA Tournament win in 2018. At retirement, he ranked 19th all-time in NCAA Division III coaching wins. His tenure produced six All-America honors, three NCAA Statistical Champions, three Conference Coach of the Year awards, and five Coach Omeltchenko Coach of the Year honors. Gill is a member of both the Long Island/Metro Lacrosse Foundation and NJCAA Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Halls of Fame. Beyond the field, he served as a dedicated physical education instructor, Assistant Athletic Director, and member of the Academy’s Middle States Commission on Higher Education Steering Committee.
