Senior Nolan Monahan (Stafford, Va.) led the way with seven certificates in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, the 200 individual medley, the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and the 200 and 400 medley relays. He brings his career total up to 12 All-American certificates.
Classmate Caelin Weaver (Olive Branch, Miss.) and junior Jack Welch (Chesapeake, Va.) will both take home three certificates each – Weaver for the 200 and 400 medley relays and the 200 free relay; and Welch for the 200 and 400 free relays and the 200 medley relay. Weaver and Welch now both have five All-American certs apiece for their careers.
Junior Daniel Moore (Riverview, Fla.) and sophomore Matthew Mizell (Merritt Island, Fla.) earned two All-American certs each – Moore in the 400 free relay and the 400 medley relay; and Mizell in the 200 and 400 medley relays. For Moore, it brings his career-total up to five certificates, while Mizell garners the first two of his career.
Rounding out this year's All-Americans were junior Jack Higgins (Needham, Mass.) for the 200 free relay – his second-career certificate – and freshman David McCranie (Woodbridge, Va.) for the 400 free relay.
