EXCELLENCE IN ATHLETICS

Acta Non Verba Award

The Blue and Gray Club established the "Acta Non Verba" Award to biannually honor an individual who has gone far beyond expectations in his or her support of Kings Point Athletics.  The highest honor presented by the Department of Athletics, this award signifies a member of the Kings Point family who is led by "Deeds, Not Words."  The award is given during the Athletic Awards Dinner which takes place during the USMMA Alumni Association and Foundation Homecoming Reunion (Fall).

In the late 1980's, the Blue & Gray Club won approval for three fund-raising events: the annual letter campaign to all athletic alumni, the Blue & Gray Golf Classics and the Acta Non Verba Award. The Acta Non Verba Awards dinner was once a major black-tie formal fundraiser for the Athletics Department. Currently, the money raised from the dinner goes to help off set costs for the following year's awards dinner (Hall of Fame / Acta Non Verba & Skip Prosser Awards). The events are hosted by the USMMA Alumni Association and Foundation.

The winner of the Acta Non Verba Award is selected by the USMMA Director of Athletics.
