INDIANAPOLIS (March 20, 2026) – USMMA men's swimming & diving freshman
Carter Kov (Goodyear, Ariz.) has reached the championship final of the one-meter dive after a top-eight finish in the preliminaries earlier today at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. He will dive on Friday night for a chance to win the individual national championship in the event.

Kov finished in fifth place in the one-meter dive prelims with a score of 471.35. With the top-eight finish, he moves on to the championship final on Friday evening. A top-eight finish overall guarantees First Team All-America honors. Diving will begin around 7:30 p.m. (ET).

Divers advanced to the championship final with their scores from the first six dives of the preliminary round carrying over, and will complete five additional dives to determine the final standings.
