KINGS POINT, N.Y. (July 8, 2026) – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) recently announced its individual and team Scholar All-America honors for this past 2025-26 season. Three Mariners were named Individual Scholar All-Americans, as freshman Carter Kov (Goodyear, Ariz.) earned First Team honors, while seniors Thomas Cable (Litchfield Park, Ariz.) and Teague Mayer (Boulder, Colo.) garnered Second Team recognition.
 
Additionally, both the men's and women's squads earned the distinction as Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams. For the men, this is the second consecutive season the Mariners have earned this prestigious honor. The men's team compiled a 3.09 collective term GPA among its 25 student-athletes, while the women's squad posted a 3.06 collective term GPA across its 16 team members.
 
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-Team selections, must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.
 
Teams were selected based on their Second Term 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.

More than 2,230 swimmers and divers from DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA institutions earned distinction as Individual Scholar All-Americans, while 714 teams from 418 institutions garnered the Scholar All-America Team honors.
