Doll Sets School Record In Women’s 60-Meter Hurdles To Lead Blue And Gray At Fastrack National Invite

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2026) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's track & field team competed Friday afternoon at the Fastrack National Invite at Ocean Breeze. The Mariners turned in a strong slate of performances, highlighted by a new program record and a pair of personal bests.

Sophomore Morgan Doll (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) etched her name into the Blue and Gray record books in the women's 60-meter hurdles, setting a new Academy record with a personal-best time of 10.27. Doll's mark broke a 14-year school record of 10.30 set by Michelle Danhoff in 2012. Doll also added a personal best in the women's 400 meters, clocking in with a time of 1:04.18.

Freshman Harmony Taylor (Morgantown, Ky.) set a new personal best in the women's 800 meters with a time of 2:52.37.

Doll rounded out her standout day with a top-10 finish in the women's long jump, placing fifth with a mark of 4.79 meters (15' 8.50").

Merchant Marine returns to competition at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational on Friday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m.
