WEST POINT, N.Y. (Jan. 10, 2026) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's track & field team competed at the West Point Invitational hosted by Army on Saturday morning at Gillis Field House. Freshman
Eleanor Romeo (Carson City, Nev.) posted her second top 10 finish of the season, and several Mariners posted personal bests at the meet.

Romeo led the Blue and Gray with a ninth-place finish and a personal-best time of 3:30.66 while classmates Lili Telvi (Southampton, N.Y.) and Harmony Taylor (Morgantown, Ky.) also PR'ed with times of 3:46.07 and 3:55.53.
Freshman Reagan Turman (San Antonio, Texas) also posted a personal-best time of 29.59 in the women's 200 meters.
USMMA returns to action again next week at the Ramapo Indoor Opener at The Armory in New York, N.Y., with the meet scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
