Jablonowski, Russo, and Wysong would all score hat tricks in the opening quarter as USMMA took control of the match from the opening draw. Wysong scored the first goal off a feed from Latchaw less than thirty seconds into play and Jablonowski would factor into the next three goals for USMMA, scoring twice before feeding Russo for her first of the game as the hosts led 4-0 before five minutes had elapsed from the quarter. The Mariners dominated the opening fifteen minutes, forcing several turnovers from the Panthers and keeping Old Westbury from attempting a shot until late in the second quarter when Eagle stopped back-to-back free-position attempts. The Mariners led 11-0 after one quarter of play and 13-0 at halftime, posting a 22-2 shots advantage over the first thirty minutes of game action. The defense for the Mariners posted a perfect 9-for-9 on clear opportunities in the contest, as well.
The Mariners welcome in St. Joseph's University of Long Island on April 6 for another Skyline Conference tilt in Kings Point. The opening draw is set for 12-noon, the first game of a doubleheader, with the USMMA men's team following. Live stats and a live video feed of the game will be available with links on
