FARMINGDALE, N.Y. (April 8, 2023) - The USMMA women's lacrosse team earned its fifth-straight victory with a 19-1 road win over Old Westbury early Saturday morning. The triumph improved the Mariners' record to 7-1 (3-0 Skyline), while the Panthers fall to 2-3 (1-1 Skyline) in defeat.

Meghan Malone (Crofton, Md.) caused three turnovers to go along with four groundballs, while also chipping in with a goal, and Nagengast caused two TOs and scooped up three GBs. Senior
Jaqui Sheedy (Baltimore, Md.) led all players with 15 draw controls and six groundballs and added two assists on the morning. In goal, freshman
Amber Heverly (Arnold, Md.) made one save in three quarters to earn the victory. She was replaced by classmate
Karianna Eagle (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) in the fourth quarter, who made her first two collegiate saves.
