Academy Records Held: 100 Backstroke - 50.07, 200 Backstroke - 1:48.79, 800 Freestyle Relay - 6:53.52, 400 Medley Relay - 3:25.20.
Before USMMA: Lindgren competed in varsity swimming at South Fork High School under head coach Jim McCombs. He was a three-time MVP as well as being named team captain and Rookie of the Year during his high school career.
