KINGS POINT, N.Y. (May 22, 2026) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy Athletic Department and the USMMA Alumni Association & Foundation (AAF) have announced the selections for the newest class to be inducted into the USMMA Athletics Hall of Fame.
 
Six individuals will be enshrined in the Hall of Fame area inside O'Hara Hall along with the 168 who have already been honored. That will bring the new total to 174 individual inductees and eight teams of distinction.
 
The following six alumni will be inducted into the USMMA Athletic Hall of Fame in September: 

• Christopher Palo '74 (Men's Soccer)
• Brennan Dougherty '09 (Men's Lacrosse)
• Kurt Olsen '13 (Men's Soccer)
• Daniel Collins '14 (Baseball)
• Kevin Lindgren '15 (Men's Swimming & Diving)
• Jacqueline White '15 (Women's Swimming & Diving)

The AAF and Athletic Department would like to congratulate all of this year's inductees into the USMMA Athletic Hall of Fame. The Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held during 2026 Homecoming and Hall of Fame Weekend at Kings Point on Friday, Sept. 25, at the beautiful Mariner Estate nearby.
