Mariners Drive Win-Streak To Six With 17-2 Road Victory At UMSV

BRONX, N.Y. (April 11, 2026) – The USMMA women's lacrosse team earned a 17-2 victory on the road over Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon in Skyline Conference action at Marillac Field. The win improves the Mariners to 7-3 overall and 5-0 in conference play, while the Dolphins fall to 2-7 (2-4 Skyline).
 
Game Links Junior Grace Picozzi (Collegeville, Pa.) led all players with seven points on six goals and one assist while also pacing the Mariners with six draw controls to go along with four caused turnovers and five ground balls. Junior Leslie Wysong (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) followed with six points (3G, 3A) and added three draw controls, two caused turnovers, and five ground balls, while sophomore Reese Ripley (Denver, Colo.) chipped in with five points behind four goals and one assist to go along with a game-high seven ground balls.
 
Freshman Sarah Litz (Westminster, Md.) added four points (3G, 1A), while sophomore Isabelle Perry (Atlanta, Ga.) recorded a goal. Defensively, senior Keira Collins (Sayville, N.Y.) caused a team-high five turnovers and collected four ground balls. In goal, senior Karianna Eagle (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) made three saves to earn the win, while sophomore Ava Booker (Tampa, Fla.) saw time in the second half.
 
Mount Saint Vincent received goals from Isabelle Gurley and AB Burnett, while Ella Meberg recorded an assist. In goal, Makenna Reekie made 16 saves for the Dolphins.
 
The Mariners return to action on Wednesday, April 15, when they travel to Newburgh, N.Y., to take on Mount St. Mary. Opening draw is scheduled for 7 p.m.
