KINGS POINT, N.Y. (March 21, 2026) – The USMMA women's lacrosse team earned a 20-2 victory over Cedar Crest College on Saturday afternoon at Brooks Stadium. The win improves the Mariners to 2-3 on the season, while the Falcons fall to 5-3.

Grace Picozzi (Collegeville, Pa.) led all players in the game with nine points on five goals and four assists, while classmate
Leslie Wysong (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) and freshman
Isabelle Perry (Atlanta, Ga.) each added eight points apiece – Wysong with four goals and four assists, while also controlling a career-high 14 draw controls, and Perry with three goals and five assists.
Sophomore
Reese Ripley (Denver, Colo.) added four points (3G, 1A), and sophomore
Lana Hayes (Toms River, N.J.) and freshman
Sarah Litz (Westminster, Md.) both finished with two goals and one assist. Senior defender
Nicole Nagengast (Seaford, N.Y.) contributed offensively with two points on a goal and an assist while also tying Wysong for the game-high with four ground balls.
Defensively, Ripley and Perry both recorded a team-best two caused turnovers, while Nagengast, senior
Keira Collins (Sayville, N.Y.) and sophomore
Amber Fields (St. Augustine, Fla.) each added one. In goal, senior
Karianna Eagle (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) made two saves in the first half to earn the win, while sophomore
Ava Booker (Tampa, Fla.) closed out the win with a strong second half between the pipes.
The Mariners wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as Litz opened the scoring just over a minute into the contest. USMMA built a 3-0 lead before Cedar Crest got on the board midway through the opening quarter, but the Mariners responded with seven of the final eight goals of the period to take a commanding 10-1 advantage after one. Perry scored twice in the quarter, including a pair of man-down goals, while Wysong and Ripley each added a goal and an assist during the opening run.
USMMA continued to control play in the second quarter, outscoring the Falcons 5-0 to extend the lead to 15-1 at halftime. The Mariners then added three more goals in the third quarter, including a pair from Wysong, to push the margin to 18-1. In the fourth, USMMA tacked on two additional goals from Picozzi before Cedar Crest scored its second of the game late, as the Mariners closed out the 20-2 victory.
Cedar Crest was led by Ellie Terranova and Kadee Schrader, who each scored a goal, while Audra Leiter recorded the team's lone assist. In goal, Izzy Feddor made nine saves for the Falcons.
The Mariners return to action next Saturday, March 28, when they travel to face Farmingdale State in a rematch of last year's Skyline Conference Championship Game. Opening draw is scheduled for 12-noon at the FSC's Rams Field.
