KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Oct. 19, 2026) – The United States Coast Guard Academy and United States Merchant Marine Academy are proud to announce Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) as a Premier Partner of the 2026 Secretaries' Cup, set for Saturday, Nov. 14, at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
 
The annual Secretaries' Cup rivalry brings together two of the nation's federal service academies as a celebration of competition, tradition and service. Coast Guard Mutual Assistance's partnership further strengthens the game's connection to the Coast Guard community and highlights a shared commitment to supporting those who serve and their families.
 
"The Secretaries' Cup gives us a powerful platform to reach the entire Coast Guard community — servicemembers, civilian employees, retirees and families alike," said Brooke Millard, CEO of Coast Guard Mutual Assistance. "It's a chance to show people who CGMA is and where to turn before a financial challenge becomes a crisis, all while celebrating the pride and tradition that come with game day."
 
As a Premier Partner, Coast Guard Mutual Assistance will have a prominent presence throughout the 2026 Secretaries' Cup and its surrounding events, providing opportunities to connect with cadets, midshipmen, alumni, families and supporters from both academy communities.

For more than 100 years, Coast Guard Mutual Assistance has provided financial support to members of the Coast Guard community through grants, interest-free loans and other assistance programs. Through its partnership with the Secretaries' Cup, CGMA will help raise awareness of the resources available to Coast Guard members and families while celebrating the shared traditions of service and camaraderie that make the annual rivalry special.
