Classmate Aaron Zalescik (Lambertville, N.J.) and freshman Jack Flannery (McKinney, Texas) each added 12 points, while freshman Talan Dawkins (South Riding, Va.) chipped in with a career-high 10 points.

Freshman Richard Sykes Jr. (Tampa, Fla.) also made an impact on defense, collecting a game-best four steals.

The Blue and Gray shot 27-of-55 (49.1%) from the field, including 6-of-20 (30.0%) from three-point range, while going 12-of-23 (52.2%) from the free-throw line. The Mariners totaled 25 rebounds and recorded eight steals, but were outpaced by Yeshiva's shooting efficiency, as the hosts finished 43-of-67 (64.2%) from the floor and knocked down 11 three-pointers.

Yeshiva set the tone early, opening the game on a 15–4 run over the first three minutes. Merchant Marine answered with baskets from Barton and Zalescik, and a three-pointer by sophomore Colin Hart (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) at 16:49 cut the deficit to 15–7. Merchant Marine briefly trimmed the margin to one at 13:38 following back-to-back finishes by Barton, but Yeshiva responded with a spurt that pushed the lead back to double figures. The Maccabees closed the half on a 20-6 run to take a 54–32 advantage into the halftime break.

The Maccabees extended the margin early in the second half, scoring the first six points to stretch the lead to 60–34, then got it up to 30, 74-44 at the 12:15 mark, and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 110–72 victory.

Zevi Samet led Yeshiva with a game-high 52 points, while Yoav Oselka added 20 and Max Zakheim chipped in with 12 points.
