EWING, N.J. (Nov. 23, 2025) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's swimming & diving team came in fourth place at this weekend's TCNJ Invite. The Mariners garnered 18 top finishes throughout the three-day event.

On Friday
- Juniors Isabel Lunsford (Burnet, Texas) and Catherine Kennedy (Columbus, Ga.), along with freshman Kaitlyn Adams (King George, Va.) and senior Jessica Felske (East Troy, Wis.) finished third in the 200 free in 1:41.93
- Freshman Natalie Scafetta (Menlo Park, Calif.) finished 11th in the 500 free in 5:23.83 (nine seconds better than her prelim time)
- Sophomore Rylie Larkin (Ponte Verda, Fla.) finished 16th in the 500 free in 6:03.37 (15 seconds better than her prelim time)
- Lunsford placed second in the 50 free in 24.89 (a lifetime best time and .4 seconds better than her prelim time)
- Senior Giana Leoni (Arvada, Colo.) had a lifetime best in the prelims of the 50 free in 29.64
- Adams had a lifetime best in the 100 back while leading off the 400 medley relay in 1:02.74Â
On Saturday
- Adams, Felske, Kennedy, Lunsford placed sixth in the 200 medley relay in 1:53.25
- Freshman Bryony Shipe (Ford City, Pa.) finished seventh in the 400 IM in 4:55.90 (two seconds better than her prelim time)
- Scafetta finished ninth in the 400 IM in 4:48.90 (10 seconds better than her prelim time)
- Lunsford finished sixth in the 100 fly in 1:01.03
- Lunsford finished third in the 200 free in 1:59.81
- Freshman Natalie Woodman (Langhorne, Pa.) finished 11th in the 200 free in 2:05.54 (a personal-best time)
- Felske finished seventh in the 100 breast in 1:10.65
- Senior Abigail Cayton (Houston, Texas) finished 10th in the 100 breast in 1:16.13
- Sophomore Molly O'Brien (Social Circle, Ga.) finished 11th in the 100 breast in 1:16.64 (a personal-best time and one second better than her prelim time)
- Adams placed ninth in the 100 back in 1:02.09 (a personal-best time and three seconds better than her prelim time)
- Scafetta, Shipe, Woodman, O'Brien finished sixth in the 800 free relay in 8:32.68
- Junior Victoria Crofford (Fairfax, Va.) finished eighth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 254.10
- Freshman Berlin Sandberg (Golden, Colo.) finished ninth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 190.20Â
On Sunday
- Crofford finished eighth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 229.45
- Scafetta finished sixth in the 1650 free in 18:40.61
- Shipe finished eighth in the 1650 free in 19:09.44
- Scafetta finished fourth in the 200 back in 2:16.68 (two seconds better than her prelim time)
- Adams finished seventh in the 200 back in 2:18.99 (better than her prelim time)
- Lunsford finished second in the 100 free in 53.87
- Woodman finished seventh in the 100 free in 56.38 (better than her prelim time)
- Felske finished eighth in the 200 breast in 2:35.65 (three seconds better than her prelim time)
