KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Oct. 17, 2025) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's soccer team remained unbeaten in Skyline Conference play with a dominant 9–0 victory on the road over St. Joseph's Brooklyn on Friday evening at Tomb Field. The Mariners extended their unbeaten streak to 11 games, improving to 9-3-2 (8-0-1 Skyline) with the win, while the Bears dropped to 0–11 (0–8 Skyline).

The Mariners wasted little time establishing control, pouring in six first-half goals. Sophomore Lauren Enterline (Harrisburg, Pa.) opened the scoring in the 8th minute off an assist from senior Morgan Mitchell (Amory, Miss.) to make it 1-0. Enterline added her second just five minutes later in the 14th minute to stretch the advantage to 2-0 before completing the first-half hat trick in the 24th minute on a feed from freshman Kennedy Crovo (Lexington, Ky.), making it 3-0.
Crovo made it 4–0 moments later with a marker in the 27th minute, followed by senior Marina Ronzoni (Riverhead, N.Y.) scoring in the 32nd minute and Mitchell capping the half with her 10th of the season in the 38th minute to give the Blue and Gray a commanding 6–0 advantage at the halfway point. USMMA outshot St. Joseph's Brooklyn 39-0 in the first half.
Merchant Marine continued to apply pressure in the second half, adding three more goals. Sophomore Evelyn Moore (Irwin, Pa.) struck in the 48th minute, and four minutes later in the 52nd minute, classmate Sarah Welsch (Broomfield, Colo.) finished off a pass from Moore to make it 8–0. Freshman Esmerelda Fogg (Seattle, Wash.) finished up the scoring in the 76th minute off an assist from classmate Stella Newman (Columbus, Ohio) to give the Mariners a 9-0 win.
USMMA fired 59 total shots (34 on goal) and held St. Joseph's Brooklyn to just two total shots while dominating corner kicks 11-0.
Sophomore Eva Fields (Williamsburg, Va.) and freshman Kait Meyer (Lehi, Utah) combined for the shutout, with Meyer recording one save over the final 45 minutes.
Bears goalkeeper Lindsay Dominguez made 25 saves in the losing effort.
Merchant Marine returns to the pitch on Wednesday, Oct. 22, on the road against Farmingdale State at 5 p.m. in Skyline action.
