PURCHASE, N.Y. (April 21, 2026) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's lacrosse team completed an undefeated run through Skyline Conference play with a 16-4 road victory over Manhattanville on Tuesday evening at GoValiants.com Field. The win extends the Mariners' streak to nine games and improves their record to 10-3 overall (8-0 Skyline), while the Valiants fall to 7-8 (4-4 Skyline).

Grace Picozzi (Collegeville, Pa.) and freshman
Sarah Litz (Westminster, Md.) both scored five goals apiece to lead the Mariners, with Picozzi also adding an assist for a team-high six points. Junior
Leslie Wysong (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) contributed four points (2G, 2A) and added two draw controls, while sophomores
Amber Fields (St. Augustine, Fla.) and
Reese Ripley (Denver, Colo.) each added three points.

Lana Hayes (Toms River, N.J.) dished out two assists, while freshman
Isabelle Perry (Atlanta, Ga.) added one helper. Defensively, senior
Nicole Nagengast (Seaford, N.Y.) and Ripley both caused three turnovers, while Picozzi controlled a team-best four draws. In goal, senior
Karianna Eagle (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) made three saves to earn the win.
Manhattanville was led by Kathleen O'Mara, who scored three goals, while Kaci Pierce added the team's other tally. In goal, Mary Kopf made 15 saves for the Valiants.
The Mariners will enter the Skyline Conference Tournament as the #1 seed and await their opponent for the semifinal round next week.
