MAHWAH, N.J. (March 30, 2026) – The USMMA women's lacrosse team picked up its third straight victory on Monday, defeating Ramapo College 17-1 in a make-up game from earlier this season at the Roadrunners' Athletic Center Turf. The win improves the Mariners to 4-3 on the season, while Ramapo falls to 4-6.

Reese Ripley (Denver, Colo.) recorded a career-high seven goals, while junior
Leslie Wysong (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) also registered seven points on five goals and two assists. Freshman
Isabelle Perry (Atlanta, Ga.) contributed five points on a goal and four assists, and sophomore
Lana Hayes (Toms River, N.J.) recorded four points on a goal and three helpers. Junior
Grace Picozzi (Collegeville, Pa.) added three points (2G, 1A), while freshman
Sarah Litz (Westminster, Md.) chipped in a goal and sophomore
Amber Fields (St. Augustine, Fla.) dished out an assist.
Wysong dominated the circle with a game-high eight draw controls and added two caused turnovers, while Ripley controlled four draws, caused two turnovers and tied Litz for the team-high with four ground balls. Picozzi contributed six draw controls and two caused turnovers, and Litz led the team with three caused turnovers. Sophomore
Meghan Shippos (Bow, N.H.) collected three ground balls to lead the Mariner defense. In goal, senior
Karianna Eagle (Little Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) turned aside five shots to secure the win.
USMMA seized control early, as Ripley and Wysong found the back of the net in the opening minutes to spark the early run. The Mariners carried a 3-1 edge after the first quarter and continued to apply pressure in the second, stringing together four goals—including finishes from Wysong, Perry, and Hayes—to take a 7-1 lead into the break.
The Mariners created full separation in the third quarter, erupting for eight goals in a decisive stretch. Ripley accounted for four during the run, while Picozzi and Litz also capitalized to extend the advantage to 15-1. USMMA added two more in the fourth, both from Picozzi, to close out the 17-1 result.
Ramapo received its lone goal from Bethany Glaser, with Kassidy Baez credited with the assist. In goal, Daniella Indomenico recorded 16 saves for the Roadrunners.
The Mariners return home on Wednesday, April 1, when they welcome St. Joseph's-Long Island for a 7 p.m. opening draw at Brooks Stadium.
