Women's Cross Country Wraps Up The Year At NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet

CANTON, N.Y. (Nov. 16, 2019) – The USMMA women's cross country team placed 23rd out of 38 teams at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet on Saturday hosted by St. Lawrence University on the Saints' 6K Campus Course in Upstate New York. 

Senior Kaleigh D'Arcy (White Plains, N.Y.) was the first Mariner to cross the finish line, coming in 57th place with a time of 24:02.1. Freshman Sayra Raya (Wasco, Calif.) was behind her in 77th place in 24:33.1. 

Senior Anna Lewis (Lakehead, Calif.) finished her cross country career with a time of 26:22.3, while classmate Briana Broccoli (Herndon, Va.) (27:22.1) and sophomore Brooke Jorstad (La Crosse, Wis.) (27:23.2) closed out the Mariner scoring. Finally, senior Alyssa DeGuzman (Stafford, Va.) was the last Mariner to finish, crossing in 28:27.7.
