Four Mariners Honored As Centennial Conference Announces Postseason Awards

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Feb. 14, 2019) – The Centennial Conference announced the postseason award winners for the 2018-19 campaign on Thursday and four members of the USMMA wrestling team were recognized – junior Joshua Glantzman (Allenwood, N.J.) earned First Team All-Centennial, senior Blake Bunce (Trophy Club, Texas) and junior Kurtis Hahn (Winfield, Mo.) were named All-Centennial Honorable Mentions and senior Kimo Dial (Poway, Calif.) was selected to the Centennial All-Sportsmanship Team.

Champions at the Centennial Conference meet are named First-Team All-Centennial, while runners-up receive honorable mention.

This is the second-straight season that Glantzman has earned First Team accolades, as he won the 184-pound bracket this season, a year after taking the title at 174.

Bunce earns his third-consecutive honorable mention nod, as he came in second place in the heavyweight bracket last weekend at the Centennial Championships. In both 2017 and 2018, Bunce placed second at 197.

Hahn earns his first career postseason honor after his second-place finish at 197 at the Centennial Championships last weekend.

Dial was the Mariners' representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team for the season, as he was hand-picked by his coaches as the Mariner wrestler who best exemplifies sportsmanship and upstanding behavior on and off the mats.
