Men's Cross Country Ends Season At NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet

CANTON, N.Y. (Nov. 16, 2019) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy men's cross country team came in 21st place out of 42 teams at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet on Saturday hosted by St. Lawrence University on the Saints' 8K Campus Course in Upstate New York. 

A trio of sophomores led the way for the Mariners, as Aodhan Meyer (South Kingston, R.I.) crossed first in 65th place in 26:30.6, Tyler Pittman (Albuquerque, N.M.) was behind him in 27:45.5 and Brennan Shute (Annapolis, Md.) finished with a time of 27:53.8. 

Freshman Will Bucher (Carlisle, Pa.) completed the loop in 28:16.9, while seniors Jeff Attardi (Cedar Run, N.J.) (32:06.4) and Michael Dobkowski (Merrick, N.Y.) (27:59.1) were the final Mariners to cross.
