Carmine Ragucci was a four-year letterwinner on the football team and a one year letterwinner on the baseball squad. He was a Little All-America selection in 1955 as well as being named All-Long Island in 1954 and 1955. Ragucci was a captain of the 1954 squad and over his four-year career, he missed only two games due to injury while starting on both sides of the ball all four years. After graduation, he received tryout offers from the Chicago Cardinals and the Washington Redskins.
