Robert Post was a four-year letter winner with the Kings Point football team and a one-year letter winner with the KP basketball squad. He was the starting quarterback for the Mariners for three and a half years and received the 1966 Adm. Stedman Trophy. Post also won the 1963 and 1965 Amelia Waldecker Trophy as the Outstanding Offensive Player at the Boardwalk Bowl and won the John F. Kennedy Memorial Trophy, presented by the Mariner Quarterback Club to the Boardwalk Bowl’s outstanding player. After graduation, Post signed with the New York Giants as a quarterback and safety.
