At the time of her induction, Rebecca (Segert) Hoyt ’04 holds the women’s basketball program’s all-time career records with 2,076 points, 777 rebounds, 739 field goals made and 466 free throws made. The three-year team captain and four-year MVP was selected as the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year after the 2000-01 season and Player of the Year after the 2001-02 season. (Segert) Hoyt was named on the Skyline Conference First Team All-Stars throughout all four seasons and was an Honorable Mention Preseason All-American in 2004. During her USMMA tenure, she set the NCAA Division III record for points per game as a freshman with 623 points (26.0 points/game), was ranked seventh in the nation for Division III scoring in 2003, and was the Academy’s 2003-04 recipient of the Julie A. Berke Trophy for Most Outstanding 1/C Female Athlete.
