The late Don Adams was a four-year letter winner for the football squad and he also lettered on the wrestling team.  As a senior, he served as captain of the 1970 football team earning All-ECAC Associated Press Little All-American honors and receiving the Adm. Stedman Trophy in 1971. 

Adams led the 1968 squad to their best ever record of 9-1 and a 17^th ranking for small colleges.  He also led the 1969 team to the ECAC Lambert Cup Championship.
