Jesselyn LaValley Named All-Landmark First Team

Senior Co-Captain Jesselyn LaValley of the United States Merchant Marine Academy women’s volleyball team was named to the All-Landmark Conference First Team. The announcement was made by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's volleyball team went 1-2 in their final home games of the season. The Mariners defeated Kean, 3-2 and then fell to Baruch, 3-1 and William Paterson, 3-1. The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's volleyball team defeated the College of New Rochelle, 3-0 in Kings Point, NY. The Mariners took game one, 25-11, game two, 25-19 and game three, 25-7. The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's volleyball team recorded their first ever Landmark Conference victory as they split a conference round-robin in Washington, DC. On Saturday, the Mariners defeated Scranton, 3-2 and then fell to Catholic on Sunday, 3-0. Senior Co-Captain Jesselyn LaValley came up big against Scranton while Senior Co-Captain Ana Fuschetto had a solid defensive game against Catholic.jump to page:
