Women's Cross Country Runs At Landmark Championships
Oct 31, 2009 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy women's cross country team competed at the Landmark Conference Championships at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. The women’s were unable to record a team score as there team was incomplete due to injury and sea year. Senior Maryrose Rooney led the Lady Mariners in the 6K in 27:29.

Oct 3, 2009 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy Women's Cross Country placed 26th overall out of 32 teams at the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, PA on Friday. The team was again led by Freshman Gretchen Holoubek in the 6K at 25:16.

Freshman Gretchen Holoubek led the way for the women running the 6k with a time of 25:29 and finished 67th overall.
