Mar 6, 2010 - CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - Junior Vincent Renaut of the No. 13 United States Merchant Marine Academy wrestling team defeated Augsburg College junior Orlando Ponce for the 165-pound national title on Saturday evening. Renaut etches his name in the Kings Point history books as he becomes the first wrestler in school history to become take home a national championship.

Junior Vincent Renaut, who was named an All-American, will battle Augsburg College junior Orlando Ponce for the 165 pound national title at 8 p.m. EST tonight. This will mark the first time in school history that a Merchant Marine wrestler will compete in the finals. Feb 21, 2010 - HOBOKEN, N.J. - The No. 13 nationally-ranked U.S. Merchant Marine Academy wrestling team captured its third-straight Centennial Conference championship compiling 88 points on Saturday evening at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, N.J. In addition to the team success, three individuals defeated their opponents in the finals: juniors Jordan Alfaro, Dan Twito, and Vincent Renault.
