Men’s Basketball Announces Its 2008-09 Schedule
Sep 17, 2008 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s basketball team announces its 2008-09 schedule that looks to be its toughest one yet. Five games against teams that reached the 2008 NCAA National Championships will highlight the Mariners season. Head Coach John Krikorian enters his third season at the helm of the Mariners and will be returning his starting lineup from the 2007-08 season.

Men's Basketball Concludes Season With A 75-57 Win At Drew
Feb 23, 2008 - Matt Oaks scored a career-best 27 points and drained seven three-pointers to help lead the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s basketball team to a 75-57 win at Drew in its final game of the 2007-08 season. The Mariners hit a season-high 14 three-point field goals in the game and finished fifth in the Landmark Conference.

Men's Basketball Travels To Drew On Saturday
Feb 22, 2008 - The United States Merchant Marine men's basketball team will travel to Drew University on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. for the last game of the regular season. USMMA enters the game with an overall record of 11-13 and 6-7 in Landmark Conference play. Drew enters the game with an overall record of 7-17 and 4-9 in the Landmark Conference.

Feb 17, 2008 - Junior guard Matt Oaks recorded 14 points and two rebounds to lead United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s basketball team in a 76-60 loss to Juniata College on Sunday afternoon. Juniata shot 50 percent from the field and 81.3 percent from the free throw line to lead them to victory over the Mariners.
Men’s Basketball Tops Susquehanna, 87-68
Feb 16, 2008 - Junior guard Pat Grace recorded 17 points and four rebounds to lead the United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s basketball team to an 87-68 win over Susquehanna University on Saturday night. USMMA was able to shoot 59.3 percent from the field along with 46.2 percent from behind the arc and 91.7 percent from the foul line.
Men's Basketball Hosts Two Conference Opponents This Weekend.
Feb 15, 2008 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy men's basketball team will look to advance in the Landmark Conference standings this weekend as they play host to Susquehanna University on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Juniata College on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. USMMA enters the weekend with an overall record of 10-12, 5-6 in conference play. Susquehanna enters the game against the Mariners in first place in the conference with and overall record of 12-9 and 9-2 in Landmark play. Juniata enters the weekend 14-8 overall and 7-4 in the conference. Juniata will face Drew on Saturday before taking on the Mariner on Sunday afternoon.

Men's Basketball To Host A Pair Of Camps This Spring
Feb 12, 2008 - The United States Merchant Marine Academy men’s basketball program will be hosting two coed basketball camps for students in grades 2-8 this spring. Led by Head Coach John Krikorian and Assistant Coaches Brian Duross and Pershin Williams, the day camp will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
