Baseball Falters in Three-Game Series Against Susquehanna
May 2, 2010 - SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Over the weekend, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy baseball team dropped its season-ending, three-game series against Landmark Conference-foe Susquehanna University at Bollinger Field in Selinsgrove, Pa. The final scores of the three contests were 12-0, 10-7 and 4-3 in favor of the Crusaders. With the victories, Susquehanna improved to 21-17 overall and 12-6 in the league. Following the defeats, USMMA fell to 7-24 on the season and 1-17 in conference play.

Apr 28, 2010 - KINGS POINT, N.Y. – On Wednesday, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy baseball team closed out its home portion of the 2010 regular season schedule with an 8-5 victory over St. Joseph’s College of Brooklyn at Lower Roosevelt Field in Kings Point, N.Y. With the win, the Mariners improved to 7-21 on the year. Following the loss, the Bears dropped to 8-20 overall.

The win was the Mariners’ second of the season versus the Privateers. With the victory, USMMA improved to 6-21 overall. Following the loss, Maritime dropped to 9-17 on the season.

With the victory, the Panthers evened their season record to 16-16. Following the loss, the Mariners dropped to 5-21 overall.
Baseball Loses Tough Game Against Juniata on Senior Day, 14-12
Apr 18, 2010 - KINGS POINT, N.Y. – On Sunday afternoon, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy baseball team lost a heartbreaker to Landmark Conference-foe Juniata College, 14-12, at Lower Roosevelt Field in Kings Point, N.Y. Prior to the contest, the eight midshipmen who are graduating this season were honored for their hard work and commitment to the USMMA baseball program. With the win, the Eagles improved to 10-18 overall and 7-5 in the league. Following the loss, the Mariners fell to 5-20 on the year and 1-14 in the Landmark.
