Miller & Ramirez Represent Mariners At Monmouth Collegiate Open Saturday

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (Feb. 13, 2016) – The USMMA women's track & field team was represented by sophomore Alex Miller (Stevensville, Mich.) and freshman Kelsey Ramirez (Stevensville, Mich.) on Saturday down at the Monmouth Collegiate Open.

Miller came in 44th place in both the 200 meter run and the 400 meter run. In the 200m, she crossed the finish line with a time of 28.61, while she finished the 400m in 1:06.45.

Ramirez competed in the 800 meter run and came in 18th place with a time of 2:31.55.

The Mariners return to action later this month, when they compete in the 2016 Landmark Conference Indoor Championship Meet, hosted by Susquehanna on Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Crusaders' Field House in Selinsgrove, Pa.
