Bunce Earns A Pair Of Centennial Academic Honors

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (March 14, 2018) – Late last week, the Centennial Conference announced the 2018 Winter Academic Honorees and USMMA junior Blake Bunce (Trophy Club, Texas) earned two accolades, as he was selected to the Academic All-Centennial Team as well as the Academic Honor Roll. 

To be nominated for the Academic All-Centennial Team a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors. To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student must meet the following criteria: (a) a sophomore or higher in class standing; (b) cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher. 

Bunce was an All-Centennial Honorable Mention after his second place finish in the 197lb. bracket at the Centennial Conference Championship Meet back in early February. He just recently concluded his junior season as the Mariners' lone representative at the NCAA National Championship Meet in Cleveland this past weekend.
