The Mariners and the Avenging Angels did not have any common opponents this season, while Merchant Marine did not play any team that qualified for the NCAA Championship this season. Meredith competed against two teams that qualified for the Division III Championship; having lost to Catholic on March 8 by a 13-10 score, and falling to Colorado College on April 28 by a 20-18 margin.
Salisbury was ranked third in the nation in the latest IWLCA Coaches Poll, which included one first-place vote on Monday, May 30.
