WBB Celebrates Senior Day Saturday Before Season-Finale Against Goucher
Prior to Saturday’s season-finale against visiting Goucher, the USMMA women’s basketball team paid tribute to its two graduating seniors, Sara Ellenberger (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Demi VanDerWal (Springfield, Ill.), with a special Senior Day Ceremony. On the court, the Mariners lost to the Gophers by the final score of 76-72. Merchant Marine ends the 2014-15 campaign with a 6-19 record, including a 2-14 mark in Landmark action, while Goucher improved to 5-19 (1-15 Landmark).

With the win, the Rangers improved to 11-14 overall and 4-10 in the conference. Following the loss, the Mariners dropped to 7-18 and 0-14 in their season finale.
