Mariners Conclude Season At NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet

LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (Nov. 10, 2018) – The USMMA men's cross country team closed out the 2018 season at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet this afternoon, hosted by Rowan University at Gloucester Co. DREAM Park. The Mariners came in 33rd place out of an extremely competitive 45-team pack. 

Freshman Lucas Jordan (Littleton, Colo.) led the way for Merchant Marine with a 157th-place finish in the 8K race with a time of 29:01.7. He was followed by classmate Aodhan Meyer (South Kingston, R.I.), who came in 190th in 29:42.1. 

The next Mariner to cross was senior Connor Cole (Alpharetta, Ga.), who came in 198th in 29:59.3. Freshman Nicholas Arima (Honolulu, Hawaii) was next with a 215th-place showing in 30:28.8. The final runner to count towards USMMA's score was freshman Tyler Pittman (Albuquerque, N.M.), who came in 220th with a time of 30:37.3.
