Jamaica, NY - Ryan Faber (Littlestown, PA) set a new personal best in the triple jump and took second in the long jump at the annual St. John's Monday Meeting. The meet was the USMMA men's track & field teams' final action before hosting the 2014 Landmark Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 3-4. Faber's personal best in the triple jump was a mark of 12.60 meters while his leap of 6.69 meters in the long jump earned the junior second-place.
The 4x100 relay team of Faber, Nathan Rogers (South Bend, WA), Tyler Washington (Chatham, NY) and Cameron Green (Lancaster, CA) claimed second-place with a time of 44.89 seconds. Green also won his section, and finished fourth overall, crossing the finish line in 2:00.32 in the 800-meter Run. Giovanni Sessoms (Alpharetta, GA) was the top thrower for the Mariners with a toss of 12.06 meters in the shot put.
