KINGS POINT, N.Y. (April 16, 2019) – USMMA junior Justin McGaffigan (Quincy, Mass.) was selected to the Skyline Conference men's tennis weekly honor roll for the week ending April 14, the league announced on Monday. The praise comes after his performances in the Mariners' three home matches last week.
McGaffigan recorded a 3-1 record (2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles) in the two Skyline matches – a 6-3 loss to Farmingdale on Wednesday and a 9-0 win over Sarah Lawrence on Saturday – and also had the Mariners' best performance in a home loss to Coast Guard on Monday, falling in his #2 singles matchup via a third-set tiebreaker.
This is the second time that McGaffigan was named to the weekly honor roll this season, as he also garnered the accolade back on March 18.
