Thursday’s Tennis Match Vs. CCNY Postponed Due To Rainstorm
For the second-straight day an athletic contest between the U.S. Merchant Marine academy and the City College of New York has been postponed due to weather. This time the two institutions’ tennis match that was scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m. has been affected by Mother Nature.

Tennis Swept By Coast Guard Tuesday Afternoon
The USMMA tennis team lost on the road to rival Coast Guard, 9-0, on Tuesday at the Bears’ Rolland Field House. The defeat drops the Mariners to 1-2 on the young season, while USCGA improves to 3-2.

Tennis Edged By Moravian, 5-4, In Landmark Opener On The Road On Sunday
The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy tennis team lost its first Landmark Conference match of the season on Sunday at Moravian in a nail-biter. The host Greyhounds escaped with a narrow 5-4 victory, dropping the Mariners to 1-1 (0-1 Landmark) on the season and improving their record to 5-3 (1-0 Landmark).

Mariners Sail Past York In 2015 Season-Opener, 9-0
The USMMA tennis team swept York College on the road on Thursday in its 2015 season-opener by the final score of 9-0. The Mariners won every single match played on the afternoon – the three doubles competitions and six singles matchups.

Banks And Robertson Announce 2015 Tennis Schedule
USMMA second-year co-head tennis coaches Trevor Banks and Jimmy Robertson released the schedule for the Mariners’ upcoming 2015 season on Tuesday. Merchant Marine will compete in 16 dual matches this season, including one against the other eight Landmark Conference opponents.
