Mariners Rally Past Goucher

The United States Merchant Marine Academy tennis team defeated Goucher College this past weekend by a score of 5-4 in Kings Point, NY.

Despite falling behind 4-2 in singles play, Kings Point swept Goucher in doubles matches 8-6, 8-5, 8-5.

Senior Jeff Gulitus improved his team leading singles record to 8-2.  The win gives USMMA their first Landmark Conference victory of the season and pulls their overall record back up to .500 (5-5) with four games remaining in the season.

The Mariners will face off at home against conference leading Drew University Thursday April 12^th at 4:30 PM.
