KINGS POINT, N.Y. (April 23, 2019) – The Skyline Conference announced on Monday that USMMA junior Liam Connors (Bellmore, N.Y.) was selected as the league's men's lacrosse Player of the Week for the week ending April 21. The accolade comes after his performance in the Mariners' lone game of the week – a big 15-8 road Skyline win at Farmingdale State on Thursday.
Connors tallied a game-high seven points on four goals and three assists to lead the Mariners past the Rams. It was his sixth game of the season where he tallied five-or-more points. He ranks in the top-five in the conference in all three offensive categories - third in points per game, and fourth in both goals and assists per game.
