Coll Selected As Second Team ECAC Men’s Lacrosse All-Star

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (June 29, 2016) – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its postseason honors for the 2016 men's lacrosse season earlier in June and U.S. Merchant Marine Academy sophomore Pat Coll (Clifton Park, N.Y.) was selected as an ECAC Division III Metropolitan/Upstate Region Second Team All-Star for his performance this past season.

Coll finished the 2016 season ranked in the top 10 in all of NCAA Division III in two major offensive categories – he was third in the country with 4.21 goals per game and 10th with 5.07 points per game. His leading the Landmark Conference in goals (51) and total points (71) helped his case to be selected to the First Team All-Landmark by the conference coaches in early May.

Coll was a part of Merchant Marine's three-headed monster at attack along with classmate Nick Treon (Danville, Pa.) and freshman Jack Renard (San Clemente, Calif.). Together, the trio combined for 192 points (69% of the team's total scoring). Renard was named the Julie A. Berke USMMA Male Rookie of the Year earlier this month.
