TOWSON, Md. (March 21, 2016) – The Landmark Conference selected the Athletes of the Week for men's lacrosse on Monday and USMMA sophomore attackman Nick Treon (Danville, Pa.) garnered the Offensive weekly award. The honor comes after Treon led the Mariners with 14 points over their two victories last week – a 9-5 win over Concordia Wisconsin on Wednesday and a 21-6 triumph over Mount St. Vincent on Thursday night.
Treon dished out four assists in the win over the Falcons on Wednesday night and then followed up that performance with a 10-point game on St. Patrick's Day with three goals and seven assists. The sophomore now leads the Landmark Conference in assists with 18 total over five games. He also picked up four ground balls and caused two turnovers over the two contests.
