Washington Lands On Skyline Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (Dec. 17, 2018) – On Monday, the Skyline Conference announced that U.S. Merchant Marine Academy senior David Washington (Frisco, Texas) was selected to the league's weekly honor roll for men's basketball. The accolade comes after his performances in the Mariners two games last week – a 68-61 home win over CCNY on Tuesday and a 79-58 road loss at Yeshiva on Thursday.

Washington recorded back-to-back double-double efforts over the two contests, with an average of 10.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. On Tuesday in the victory over the Beavers, Washington drained 10 points and brought down 10 rebounds. He followed that up with an 11-point, 13-rebound effort against the Maccabees on Thursday.
