BRONX, N.Y. (Jan. 31, 2017) - The USMMA men's basketball team dropped a Skyline Conference matchup on the road at Mount St. Vincent on Tuesday night, 77-64, at the Dolphins' Peter Jay Sharp Center. In defeat, the Mariners fall to 5-14 (2-9 Skyline), while CMSV improves to 6-13 (4-6 Skyline).
Senior Matt Miller (Augusta, Ga.) - who on Monday was named to the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll - led all players in the game with 26 points, while also bringing down eight rebounds. Junior Christian Wittendorf (Granger, Ind.) chipped in with 12 points and sophomore David Washington (Frisco, Texas) recorded a game-high 11 rebounds and just missed out on a double-double with nine points.
For Mount St. Vincent, two players scored in double-figures, both coming off the bench - senior Myron Hickman with a team-best 16 points and sophomore Jason Berrera contributing 10. Junior Andrew Curiel led the Dolphins on the glass with 10 rebounds.
