Senior Nick Sergio (Patchogue, NY) has been selected to the 2014 All-Landmark Conference First-Team following a vote of the league's head coaches.  Classmate Zach Karczewski (Austin, TX) was tabbed to the all-conference second-team, marking the second straight year USMMA has placed two players on the All-Landmark teams.  Sergio also earned second-team honors at the conclusion of the 2012-13 season while Karczewski is making his first appearance on an All-Landmark team.

Sergio ranked second in the Landmark Conference with 9.1 rebounds per game and led the Mariners in scoring his senior year with 13.5 points per game.  The 6-8 center recorded 10 double-doubles and notched career highs of 34 points and 18 rebounds in USMMA's win over Catholic.  Sergio was the league's top offensive rebounder while also totaling 26 blocked shots on the opposite end of the floor.

Karczewski secured his all-league honors after averaging 13.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.  He was consistent all year, shooting 46 percent from the floor and scored in double figures in the final 10 games of his collegiate career.  Karczewski also ranked fourth in the Landmark Conference with 34 steals as the toughest defender on the Mariners roster.

Merchant Marine finished the 2013-14 campaign with a second straight appearance in the Landmark Conference semifinals.
