Margrey and Hendrix Named to Capital One Academic All-District Team

Kings Point, NY – Sophomores Jacob Margrey (Baldwinsville, NY) and Andrew Hendrix (Virginia Beach, VA) have both been selected to the Capital One Academic All-District team.  The award is selected by the members of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) and recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

Margrey was an All-Landmark Conference selection on the offensive line in his rookie campaign and has followed that performance with another strong season in 2012.  Academically, he holds a 3.50 GPA in Marine Engineering.  Hendrix has played in all nine USMMA games this season and has recorded 21 tackles.  The defensive lineman boasts a 3.76 GPA at the Academy in Logistics.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second-, and third-team honorees will be selected later this month.
