MAHWAH, N.J. (March 28, 2026) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's track & field team opened their 2026 Outdoor season at the Ramapo Invitational. The Mariners registered three top-10 finishes at the meet, finished 19th out of 28 teams overall, and were tops among Skyline Conference competitors, defeating Manhattanville by 2 points.

Sophomore Morgan Doll (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) posted a second-place finish in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:12.52, while freshman Eleanor Romeo (Carson City, Nev.) came across in sixth in the women's 1,500 meters with a time of 5:11.00.
Doll added a second top 10 effort in the women's high jump, putting up a personal-best leap of 1.53m for a ninth-place finish.
USMMA returns to action on Saturday, April 4, at the Coast Guard Spring Invitational in New London, Conn.
