EWING, N.J. (Nov. 23, 2025) – USMMA swim & dive freshman
Carter Kov (Goodyear, Ariz.) recorded two NCAA qualifying marks and the Mariners compiled a total of 34 top-9 finishes en route to a second place showing at the TNCJ Invitational this weekend. The Mariners scored 726 team points, which was behind only the host Lions, who produced 1,429 points to win the invite.

Kov won the one-meter board on Sunday with a score of 512.00, while also placing second in the three-meter event on Saturday with a 499.40. He has officially qualified for the NCAA Diving Regionals later this season.

The Mariners also earned a victory in the 400 free relay on Sunday when the team of sophomores
Max Fedorenko (Chicago, Ill.) and
John Frank (Highland, Md.), freshman
Keanne Hernandez (Deer Park, N.Y.) and junior
Jason Equiano (Yonkers, N.Y.) touched first in 3:08.06.

- Fedorenko, Frank, Hernandez, and Equiano finished first in the 400 free relay in 3:08.06.
- Kov finished second on the 3-meter board with a score of 499.40.
- Senior Teague Mayer (Boulder, Colo.), Frank, Hernandez, and Fedorenko finished second in the 200 medley relay in 1:33.47.
- Freshman Nicholas Hardt (Friendswood, Texas) finished second in the 200 fly in 1:51.02 (1.5 seconds better than his prelim time)
- Fedorenko finished second in the 100 free in 46.3 (better than his prelim time)
- Fedorenko, Frank, Hernandez, and sophomore Ryan McOsker (Fredericksburg, Va.) finished third in the 200 free relay in 1:24.28.
- Fedorenko finished third in the 50 free in 21.47.
- Frank finished third in the 100 breast in 57.43 (a half-second better than his prelim time)
- Fedorenko finished third in the 100 back in 52.11 (a half-second better than his prelim time)
- Junior Charlie Williams (Vienna, Va.) finished third on the 3-meter board with a score of 332.90.
- Williams finished third on the 1-meter board with a score of 348.85.
- Hardt finished third in the 400 IM in 4:06.91 Â (nine seconds better than his prelim time)
- Mayer, Frank, Hernandez, and Fedorenko finished fourth in the 400 medley relay in 3:27.24.
- Junior Ryan Lester (Heath, Texas) finished fourth in the 200 free in 1:44.69 (a season-best time)
- Hernandez finished fourth in the 100 fly in 50.84 (a half-second better than his prelim time)
- Frank finished fourth in the 100 free in 47.15 Â (better than his prelim time)
- McOsker, Mayer, Lester, and Hardt finished fourth in the 400 free relay in 3:13.19.
- Junior Luke Dankert (Grand Island, Neb.) finished fifth in the 100 breast in 59.17.
- Mayer finished fifth in the 200 fly in 1:58.08 (one second better than his prelim time)
- Frank finished sixth in the 200 IM in 1:56.00 (one second better than his prelim time)
- Hernandez finished sixth in the 200 fly in 1:58.32.
- McOsker, Dankert and juniors Jacob Socarras (Winter Springs, Fla.) and Caden Latchaw (Queenstown, Md.) finished seventh in the 400 medley relay in 3:31.68.
- Mayer finished seventh in the 100 back in 54.08.
- Dankert finished seventh in the 200 breast in 2:11.29.
- Junior Abraham Shim (Rockwall, Texas), sophomore Brendan Baser (Cary, Ill.), junior Luke Frank (Highland, Md.), and senior Matthew Wachendorfer (Greensboro, N.C.) finished seventh in the 800 free relay in 7:33.54.
- Hernandez finished eighth in the 100 free in 49.53.
- Lester finished eighth in the 200 fly in 2:04.32.
- Shim, Latchaw, Dankert, and Wachendorfer finished eighth in the 400 free relay in 3:19.27.
- Shim, sophomore Trevor Dash (Ketchikan, Alaska), Socarras, and Latchaw finished ninth in the 400 medley relay in 3:37.74.
- Lester finished ninth in the 500 free in 4:45.72 (three seconds better than his prelim time)
- McOsker finished ninth in the 100 fly in 51.93 (one second better than his prelim time)
- Shim finished ninth in the 100 back in 54.40.
- Junior Daniel Rush (Toms River, N.J.) finished 10th in the 1-meter dive with a score of 131.75.Â
