(Nov. 15, 2025) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women's cross country team competed at the 2025 NCAA Division III Metro Region Championship on Saturday morning at DREAM Park in Logan Township, N.J. The Mariners had strong individual performances highlighted by a pair of personal bests from freshmen
Eleanor Romeo (Carson City, Nev.) and
Lili Telvi (Southampton, N.Y.).

Romeo was USMMA's top finisher in 24:11.7, marking a new personal best, while Telvi followed after with a time of 24:40.7, also a personal best. Freshman Harmony Taylor (Morgantown, Ky.) came across next for Merchant Marine in 27:05.9 while sophomore Karley Rush (Trinity, Fla.) completed the race in 32:33.6.
